Dear Parent/Carer,
Preparations are currently underway for the 2024 Year 11 Memorabilia and Prom, which will be held in the Royal Hall at the Villa Marina. The date is provisionally booked for Thursday 18th July 2024, although this could be subject to change.
Hoodies will be supplied by Dangerous Apparel and will be available to order and pay for directly from their website at the cost of £30.00. We will notify you when the hoodies are available to purchase, once the design has been agreed.
To produce the memorabilia items, the student’s name and photo will be printed in the year book, along with a personal comment. Their name will also be printed on the hoodies. If you choose to not purchase a year book or hoodie and the student would not like their image and name to be used in the book, please contact bhsenquiries@sch.im to opt out.
By signing up for a year book or hoodie you are giving permission for Ballakermeen to share your child’s name, image and personal comment with a third party.
We would like to offer a payment plan for the year book -£15 and Prom Ticket - £30, which will spread the cost of these popular items and event to ease the cost.
Payments can only be made via ParentPay which will automatically notify when you log in that the payments are due. If you do not have access to ParentPay please contact the school office at bhsenquiries@sch.im to arrange. No cash or cheque payments will be accepted.
To secure this offer for a year book and prom ticket please pay a deposit of £15 via ParentPay by Friday 15th December 2023.
Further payments will be due on or before the following dates, should you choose both the options:
- Friday 26th January 2024 £15.00
- Thursday 28th March 2024 £15.00
Please note that there will be no extensions to these deadlines as the funds are required to secure the orders with our suppliers. This order cannot be added to at a later date unless it is for the Prom ticket.
If your child has medical or dietary/allergy requirements, please ensure the information is completed through ParentPay before payment is made.
You will receive more details of the Prom nearer to the event time. We aim to distribute the year books prior to Year 11 Leavers Day, which will be Monday 29th April 2024.
