The year 7 girls played their first cricket fixture this week against Ramsey Grammar School. For some, this was their first experience of a cricket game, but they all fully involved themselves with the game showing some promising bowling, batting and fielding skills.
It was an extremely closely fought game, with Ballakermeen winning by 16 runs. I am sure that there is much more to come from this team as the season progresses!
