We’ve been made aware that some parents and carers may not be receiving school emails sent via Arbor.

After speaking with the Arbor Support Team, they’ve advised that this most commonly affects @hotmail and @live email addresses. Newer @outlook addresses seem to be affected less often.


What you can do

To help make sure you receive our emails, please add the following two school domains to your Safe Senders list:

  1. bhsenquiries@sch.im
  2. no-reply@mail.arbor-education.com


How to add a Safe Sender (Outlook / Hotmail)

  • Sign in at outlook.live.com
  • Click the Settings icon (top right)
  • Select View all Outlook settings
  • Go to Mail → Junk email
  • Under Safe senders and domains, click + Add
  • Enter the bhsenquiries@sch.im
  • Click Save

Do the same for no-reply@mail.arbor-education.com


Using the Outlook mobile app?

The app doesn’t have a Safe Senders option. Please open a browser on your phone, go to outlook.live.com, sign in, and follow the steps above. If you are unable to access the settings icon on your phone, we recommend using a different device such as a laptop or desktop. Any changes to your Safe Senders list will sync within 24 hours.


Please note, messaging through the Arbor app has not been impacted by this issue.
