We are incredibly proud to share just some of the many achievements of our students who took part in this year’s Manx Music Festival. Their hard-work and talent across a wide range of disciplines have been truly impressive, and we congratulate all students involved on their success! Thanks to those who have been in touch to share their wonderful achievements.
Seren, Samantha, Rosie, Scarlet, Lucy, Izzy, and Allyssandra all sang with the Platform Vocal Ensemble Seniors, winning the Vocal Ensemble class singing 'When I Grow Up' by Tim Minchin.
Gracie (Year 7) performed in multiple classes in the Guild, placing 2nd in the Character Dance and 1st in Public Speaking (Year 7/8).
Jansen (Year 10) placed 2nd in the Piano Solo Memory Grades 5&6.
Samantha (Year 10) won the Girls Solo Years 9 & 10.
Jesse (Year 8 ) placed 2nd in the Piano Solo Grades 3 & 4.
Head Girl Stella (Year 13) won both the Spoken Word Years 11 - 13 and the Shakespeare Years 9 - 13, as well as placing 2nd in the Monologue Years 12 & 13.
Scarlet (Year 12) won the Songs from the Shows Years 9 - 13 performing 'Right Hand Man' from 'Something Rotten!'
Alyssandra (Year 8 ) performed four singing solos in total, placing joint second in two of them, and receiving Honours and Outstanding marks, as well as two piano pieces, both also awarded Honours.
