We were delighted to receive a HUGE collection of books from Penguin’s ‘Lit in colour’ collection, a selection of books by ethnic minority writers, both fiction and non-fiction. These came free of charge courtesy of Pearson Education who aim to help schools to diversify their book collection to make them more inclusive.
Huge thanks to Mrs Kenyon, who entered the competition on behalf of the school and won us all these amazing books, most of which will go into the school library for students and staff to borrow and read.
