We were visited today by traditional music duo Elizabeth Davidson-Blythe and (former Ballakermeen student) Daniel Quayle, who ran an interesting workshop with some of our Year 9 students all about traditional Manx music, followed by a small concert for 160 Year 7 students!
Elizabeth and Daniel released their debut album ‘The Coast Road’ last year and are beginning to make a name for themselves in the wider Celtic and World music circuit, travelling to perform in various festivals, with a trip to Australia planned for May.
