Ballakermeen students celebrated National Poetry Day yesterday by pulling out a ‘lucky dip’ poem from the ‘poetry box’ taken around school by librarian Ros. This has become a regular event over the years and has fostered a love of poetry among many students past and present! Students all over school shared poems with each other, and it was a true celebration of poetry.
