There are several exciting House competitions coming up, and we would love to see even more students taking part. Take a look at what’s on offer below:
Battle Boat & Boat Race Competition
Event 1: Test your engineering skills by building a race boat capable of completing two lengths of the swimming pool. Each team can enter up to three pilots to compete across three races, allowing you to showcase both speed and durability.
Event 2: Enter your battle boat into an open-pool showdown, where the aim is to sink the competition by splashing and flooding their boats!

Physics Olympiad
This online competition is open to all students, regardless of set.
If you’d like to enter, please ensure your name is passed to Mrs Clark by the end of this week. You can ask your form tutor to do this on your behalf.

History Poster Competition
Design an A3 poster promoting a Manx historical event or location. Posters must include both images and a minimum of 300 words.
All entries will be displayed in the seating area during TT Week, and our TT guests will help judge the competition.
The winner will receive House points and a £20 voucher. A great chance to be creative and learn more about local history!

Sir Mark Cavendish Raceway Mural
The NSC raceway will be renamed the Sir Mark Cavendish raceway, and students are invited to submit their name as part of a mural design!
To take part, download and print the mural template, and hand in your completed design to Ros in the Library by Wednesday 30th April.
All participants will earn House points, and the House with the most entries will win a bonus 100 House points!
