The recent results from the Kindness Advent Calendar have reshuffled the leaderboard. Maughold and Patrick both earned a bonus 100 points for fully completing the same number of calendars, while Conister and Hillary were each awarded 50 points for their contributions.
These results have caused a significant change in the standings! Previous leaders Langness have dropped to third place behind Conister. Hillary and Patrick now sit joint fourth, with Maughold returning to the top of the table.
The Year 7 Spelling Bee also got underway yesterday. Well done to all students who took part in the first round. The competition continues next Monday at lunchtime.
We also have a new Paper Aeroplane competition starting next Monday (first lunch) and continuing on Thursday (second lunch). Only one plane may be entered per person, and students must arrive with their plane ready to throw. Each participant will have three attempts. The current school record stands at 27.1 metres, set by Lucas in Year 9 (Langness).
