To celebrate World Book Day 2026, we are holding a Masked Reader challenge! Each day this week we have shared an audio clip of a mystery member of staff reading an extract from a book, magazine, or article. Your challenge is to listen carefully and try to work out who is behind the mask...
- Day 1: Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir.
- Day 2: Reading by the Masked Reader themselves.
- Day 3: The Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll, and Danny the Champion of the World by Roald Dahl.
- Day 4: Klopp: The Liverpool FC Celebration, The Princess Bride by William Goldman, and The Gruffalo in Scots by Julia Donaldson.
- Day 5: The Midnight Club by Christopher Pike, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by JK Rowling, and George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl.
