In English, the Carnegie 2026 Book Club will take place every Friday, both lunchtimes, in L4. This is a great opportunity for students who enjoy reading to share their views and take part in voting for this year’s Carnegie Medal winner. In Geography, students are invited to take part in a Rainforests competition. Entries can take the form of a 3D poster, a shoebox model, or a descriptive essay exploring the four layers of the rainforest, including key features such as plant adaptations. The deadline for submissions is 8th June. Students should speak to their Geography teacher if they require further details.
