Letter issued 15th May 2023- The Administration and Finance Team provides support for students and staff. On behalf of us all, we welcome you to the Ballakermeen community. We know how busy you are, but please complete the online forms below by 1st June 2023, so that your child is fully enrolled.

	Data Collection Sheet This is information that will help us to keep your child safe. Please follow this link to complete. Please ensure that all medical conditions are listed on the Data Collection Sheet. If you would like to make an appointment to discuss a specific medical condition and/or requirements, please telephone 648700. Please note: your child may not be able to start unless we have this information
	ParentPay/Cashless systems We accept electronic payments for school meals and uniform. Please see the attached leaflet or visit www.parentpay.com for more details. Smartcards and lanyards will be issued on 6th September 2023, the first card and lanyard are free of charge (please do not pay for a smartcard on ParentPay). Replacement smartcards can be purchased at a cost of £5.00 via ParentPay or the Foyer. Replcement lanyards are £1 each.
	Free School Meals If your child receives free school meals, you must re-apply, as the supplement will not be automatically renewed. This can be done online: here. Once confirmation of free school meals have been approved, parents will be issued with a letter which includes a code to apply to Bus Vannin for free school travel
	School Uniform Order Form The School Uniform Order Information tells you where you can buy blazers, jumpers and PE kits. We sell ties (standard or clip-on) and badges for blazers. Cheques for ties/badges should be made payable to ‘Ballakermeen High School’. Our Uniform Swap Shop has a range of uniform available, all washed and in good condition. No obligation to swap anything. Summer Holiday Swap Shop will be held in the Seating Area from 29th August to 1st September or contact bhsenquiries@sch.im for further information.
	School Photographs Students will have their photograph taken on Wednesday 6th September 2023 which will be printed on their smartcards. These photographs will be available for purchase from Andrew Barton Photography.
	Lockers Your child can rent a locker, subject to availability. The cost is £5 for the duration of their time at school and the key must be returned when the locker is no longer required or before the student leaves school in Year 11. Replacement keys cost £5 each.
