There is now an amber weather warning in place for Thursday 9th and Friday 10th March with snow, high winds and coastal overtopping forecasted.
Snow fall is likely throughout the morning, becoming more persistent midday on Thursday. All-island coverage is expected, with the possibility of up to 20cm on higher grounds. This may continue through the night and into Friday morning.
Schools and UCM will therefore be closed on Thursday 9th March, and a decision about Friday will be made before midday tomorrow.
