A group of Silver Duke of Edinburgh students walked a challenging and wet route last weekend, camping at some of our more remote sites! Their team spirit wasn’t dampened by the boggy ground and all of them are well on their way to completing their Silver Awards, having completed six months of volunteering in the community as well as developing new skills. Well done!
There are also two more groups of Silver DofE Award participants out this weekend. The weather has taken a distinctly autumnal turn, it’ll be a chilly couple of nights under canvas. The lads have prepared for this by planning their own routes as well as carrying out physical training, skill development and six months volunteering in the community. Cair vie/safe journey!
