Our Year 12 Geography students took part in a fantastic fieldwork day yesterday, exploring a range of physical and human geography topics across the Isle of Man.
We began by measuring the microclimate of Conrhenny Plantation, followed by collecting river data from the River Groudle. Students also examined brownfield development sites in Douglas, visited and sketched the (empty!) Clypse reservoir and observed mass movement features in Laxey.
Throughout the day, students demonstrated excellent teamwork, curiosity, and care - not only for each other but also for the natural environment. Their preparedness, kindness, and respect made the day a real success. A big well done to all involved.
