Welcome to Ballakermeen High School

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Ballakermeen High School and our website where you will find lots of information about us and our amazing students. As Headteacher, I am proud to lead a school that places students at the heart of everything we do and although we achieve great success, we are also determined to improve by building on our strengths.

Here at Ballakermeen, we set high expectations for behaviour and politeness, as we believe that these characteristics are the foundation of a successful learning community. Our dedicated staff work hard to deliver high-quality teaching that inspires, challenges and supports every student to achieve their full potential and we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where every young person can thrive.

If you visit us, you will see values of Kindness, Honesty and Respect to be evident in each interaction, every classroom, throughout the school and in our wider community. The news shared on this website provides just a sample of what you will find going on at Ballakermeen every day!

Warm regards,

Graeme Corrin
